Welcome to the UniCare State Indemnity Plan's web page for GIC Coordinators. Plan Options – Get an overview of the UniCare State Indemnity Plan's options.

Request Plan Materials – Use our online form to order member materials, including enrollment materials such as our Plan Comparison Guide and Provider Listing for Basic, PLUS and Community Choice members.

Forms and Documents – View or print various Plan documents and forms available online, including Member Handbooks and Benefit Updates.

Avoiding Balance Billing with Non-Massachusetts Providers – This information applies to non-Medicare members and their eligible dependents. These members can avoid balance billing when they are traveling outside Massachusetts by using UniCare Travel Access providers. (Balance billing is the practice of a provider billing a patient for all charges above the allowed amount that are not paid for by the patient's health plan.) Student dependents living out of state can also use Travel Access providers. In addition, all Basic members, and PLUS members who reside in Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire or Rhode Island, also have access to UniCare network providers in their state at the same benefit level as with Massachusetts providers.
