Save Money by Using Our Tier 1
and Tier 2 Physicians

This information applies to non-Medicare members only.

Our Basic, PLUS and Community Choice Plans offer you lower office visit copays when you use Massachusetts physicians who have been designated as "Tier 1" or "Tier 2."

Physician tiering is an important part of the Group Insurance Commission’s (GIC) Clinical Performance Improvement (CPI) Initiative to improve health care quality and cost efficiency, while continuing to offer you comprehensive benefits and a wide choice of providers. Find out more about the GIC’s CPI Initiative.
